Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Consepo platform at consepo.com (the "Service"), operated by Linchpin, LLC ("Linchpin", "we", "us", or "our"), a Rhode Island limited-liability company. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Account Registration

You may register using an email and password or through a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Description of the Service

Consepo is a Content Security Policy (CSP) discovery, analysis, and monitoring platform. The Service allows you to:

• Submit URLs for browser-rendered crawling to discover loaded resources.
• Generate CSP headers in multiple deployment formats (HTTP header, meta tag, Cloudflare Worker, WordPress, and more).
• Monitor CSP violations in real time or via scheduled digests.
• Manage workspaces, team members, and API tokens for programmatic access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scan websites you do not own or are not authorized to test.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by applicable open-source licenses).
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Share, sell, or sublicense your account credentials or API tokens to third parties.
• Circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or other usage controls.

5. Plans, Billing & Payment

Consepo offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.

• Plan limits — each plan has defined limits on scans per day, team members, violation volume, and feature access. Exceeding these limits may result in restricted functionality until you upgrade.
• Renewals — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel beforehand.
• Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds — refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at sayhi@linchpin.com within 14 days of a charge.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, its branding (including the Consepo™ and Linchpin™ names and marks), and all related software, content, and documentation are the property of Linchpin, LLC or its licensors. Portions of the Service are released under the GPL-3.0 license.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service, including scan URLs and CSP violation reports. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service.

If you enable public report sharing, the shared report will be accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for determining whether the contents of a shared report contain sensitive information.

8. API Access

Paid plans may include programmatic API access. API tokens are issued per-workspace and may be scoped to specific domains. You are responsible for securing your API tokens and for all requests made with them. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access that adversely affects the Service.

9. Data Sharing Between Internal Systems

Consepo is part of the Linchpin suite of products. Data collected through the Service — including account information, usage metrics, and billing records — may be shared between internal Linchpin systems for account management, analytics, billing reconciliation, and product improvement. We do not sell your data to third parties.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers (including Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, and PostHog). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers where applicable. We are not liable for the actions or omissions of third-party service providers.

11. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that CSP recommendations generated by the Service will prevent all security vulnerabilities.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linchpin, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Linchpin, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
